Indirect, Scheduled Flights To Cuba

With the withdrawal of Virgin Atlantic, there are currently no direct flights (scheduled or charter) between the UK & Cuba.

In terms of indirect flights to Cuba, there are numerous airlines offering flights to Havana, generally via Europe.

Air France – Numerous UK airports to Havana via Paris

Air France offer 3 or 4 flights per week from Paris (CDG) to Havana with connections from a number of UK airports including London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Edinburgh.

Long-haul flights operate with Boeing 777 or Airbus A350 aircraft with a choice of 3 cabins.

KLM – Numerous UK airports to Havana via Amsterdam

KLM flights to Cuba are currently suspended.

Iberia – Flights from Heathrow to Havana via Madrid

Iberia offer 3 or 4 flights per week from Madrid to Havana with connections from London Heathrow. Long-haul flights operate using Airbus A330 aircraft with a choice of cabins.

Air Europa offer near daily flights from Madrid to Havana with connections from London Gatwick. Long-haul flights operate using Boeing 787 Dreamliner with a choice of 2 cabins.

Aeromexico – Fly from Heathrow to Havana via Mexico City

Aeromexico offer near daily flights from Heathrow via Mexico City. Unlike flights via Europe, both the outbound and inbound flights operate overnight.

On the longhaul sector, flights are operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner with a choice of 2 cabins.

Other Flight Options To Havana

Air Canada fly from Toronto to Havana with connecting flights from Heathrow. However, unlike flights via Europe, connections in Toronto can be very tight, involve very long layovers or even an overnight.

TUI – Manchester to Varadero

TUI flights to Cuba from the UK are currently suspended.

Flying To Cuba via the USA

Due to the current political situation, trying to arrange flights between the USA & Cuba is fraught with difficulty and risks and, as a result, we strongly advise clients to avoid them at this time.

It is also important to note that the Cuba E-Visa issued in the UK for entry to Cuba is not valid for travel from the USA to Cuba.

Turkish Airlines fly direct from Istanbul to Havana and, featuring flights to more destinations than any other airline in the world, offer connecting flights from all over Europe and beyond.
