A short drive from the historic town of Izamal, the Hacienda Ticum is one of the more recent additions to the Yucatan’s hacienda scene.
Dating back to 1810 and situated within 10 acres of beautiful gardens, the Hacienda Ticum is both a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet as well as a great base from which to explore the surrounding region.
In addition to Izamal, the small Mayan ruins of Ake are just over 1km away while the city of Merida can be reached in around 45 minutes.
For those guests who are content to relax at the hotel, there is a large swimming pool as well as an intimate restaurant serving local cuisine.
There are 15 rooms in total, split between 7 suites, 4 deluxe rooms and 4 individual bungalows. All rooms at Hacienda Ticum blend classic colonial touches with contemporary, modern comforts including king-sized beds.
