Catalonia Playa Maroma

As with many All Inclusive hotels along the Riviera Maya, the layout of the Catalonia Playa Maroma is slightly odd.

Essentially, it is an elongated rectangle, with the reception and certain guest facilities at the entrance to the property, accommodation either side of a long, central pathway in the middle and, in front of the beach, an enormous, feature-pool together with bars and restaurants.

In addition to the main buffet restaurant there are a selection of a la carte restaurants, snack joints, a juice bar, coffee lounge and a range of bars including the 24-hour lobby bar. Guests who upgrade to a Privilege category room also have access to their own, exclusive restaurant.

Leisure facilities at the hotel are also exclusive and, in addition to the large, freeform pool, include a fitness centre, numerous land and water-based sports activities and kids club.

Included in the price are all meals and snacks, all local and selected international drinks 24hrs a day, non-motorised watersports, various land-based activities and evening entertainment. Guests who opt to upgrade to Privilege status enjoy a variety of additional benefits.

Accommodation at the Catalonia Playa Maroma consists of a total of 400 rooms, all with terrace or balcony. Standard rooms are spacious and comfortable while upgrading to Privilege rooms means a more contemporary décor, additional in-room amenities and access to exclusive hotel facilities.
