Flight options to suit every requirement and budget
At Beyond The Ordinary we have access to a wide variety of fares and special offers on the leading airlines to our featured destinations of Guatemala, Nicaragua, Cuba and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico.
As all our flight inclusive holidays are covered under the ATOL scheme, you can also book with complete confidence, safe in the knowledge that your money is fully protected.
Furthermore, with the majority of our international flight bookings, we only need a deposit at the time of booking, not full payment.
As with all scheduled flights, there is no such thing as a singular fare to a destination – prices for the same route can vary from airline to airline and from day to day, especially if booking late to travel at the most popular times of year.
All of our flight bookings include checked luggage as well as onboard meals & drinks on the long-haul sectors.
For customers commencing their journey in the UK / Europe, outbound flights to our featured destinations are all daytime with return flights operating overnight.
With the distances involved, many of our customers also opt to upgrade their flights, either out and back or just in one direction, ie out Economy and back Premium Economy / Business. With outbound flights being daytime and return flights overnight, it makes sense to upgrade on the way back.
Currently, the only one of our four featured destinations with direct flights from the UK is Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula (flights to Cancun). Clients looking to visit Cuba, Nicaragua & Guatemala will need to travel indirect.
Please Note – Although we are more than happy to book clients’ international flights where possible, the prices on our suggested itineraries do not include international flights. Why? Well, many clients already have their own flights booked when they come to us or perhaps wish to use reward miles; in addition, those of our clients who aren’t based in the UK will find it easier and cheaper to book their own international flights.
British Airways offer direct, scheduled flights between the UK (London Gatwick) and the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico (Cancun). Flights are operated using Boeing 777 aircraft in a 3-cabin configuration with a choice of World Traveller, World Traveller Plus & Club World.
In conjunction with American Airlines, they also offer daily, indirect flights from the UK to both Cancun & Guatemala City via the US (generally Heathrow via Miami).
Virgin Atlantic fly direct from Heathrow to Cancun, currently between October & the end of March.
In conjunction with Delta Airlines via Atlanta, they also offer indirect flights to Cancun & Guatemala City.
Flights are operated by a mix of aircraft type but all offer a choice of Economy, Premium Economy & Upper Class.
From their Madrid hub, Iberia offer daily or frequent flights to both Havana & Guatemala City with connections from London Heathrow.
Long-haul flights are generally operated by Airbus A330 aircraft in a 3-cabin configuration with a choice of Economy, Premium Economy & Business class.
From their Paris hub, Air France offer flights to Havana as well as frequent flights to Cancun. Connecting flights are available from a number of UK airports including Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle & Edinburgh. Most long-haul flights are operated by Boeing 777 aircraft in a 3-cabin configuration with a choice of Economy, Premium Economy & Business class.
As they are part of the same airline, flights with Air France can be combined with those of KLM.
From their Amsterdam hub, KLM offer flights to Cancun. Connecting flights are available from a number of UK airports including Heathrow, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh & Aberdeen. Most long-haul flights are operated by Boeing 787 Dreamliners or Airbus A330s with a choice of Economy & Business class.
As they are part of the same airline, flights with KLM can be combined with those of Air France.
From their Madrid hub, Air Europa offer frequent flights to both Havana & Cancun with connections from London Gatwick. Long-haul flights are generally operated by Airbus A330 aircraft in a 2-cabin configuration with a choice of Economy or Business class.
American offer daily flights from Heathrow via the US (mainly Miami) to Cancun, Guatemala City & Managua (Nicaragua). Flights are operated by a mixture of aircraft types and cabin configurations.
As part of the One World alliance, it is often also possible to combine British Airways & American flights, ie BA from London to the US followed by onward, connecting flights on American.
United offer daily flights from Heathrow via the US (mainly Houston) to Cancun, Guatemala City & Managua (Nicaragua). Flights are operated by a mixture of aircraft types and cabin configurations.
TUI fly direct to Cancun from a number of UK airports.
