Currently the only hotel in the centre of Bayamo, the Hotel Royalton is a small, charming hotel ideal for an overnight stay.
The property is located right in the historic heart of Bayamo but, because the area around it is pedestrianised, it remains remarkably peaceful.
The building itself dates back to the 1940s and, whether or not that classifies it as a true heritage hotel, it certainly doesn’t lack for charm or character.
As a relatively small hotel, facilities at the hotel are not extensive with a bar, restaurant and, best of all, a roof terrace, the main features.
In terms of accommodation, there are just 33 comfortable rooms, all with ensuite facilities, a/c, phone, tv and safe.
Due to its limited number of rooms, and the lack of any other such properties in Bayamo, the Hotel Royalton does book up a long way in advance.
