Where to stay in Las Terrazas & Soroa
Despite the huge potential of the area, accommodation is very limited around Las Terrazas and Soroa. There are still just the two hotels, Villa Soroa and the more appealing La Moka, and both book up a long way in advance, especially during high season.
To meet some of the pent-up demand for accommodation, a growing number of homes in the area have become casa particulars, although standards tend to be lower than elsewhere. The best of these in our opinion is Casa Agapito, a short walk from the Soroa Botanical Gardens.
If the quality of accommodation on offer puts you off overnighting, it’s easy enough to either visit the area on a day trip from Havana or visit en-route to or from Vinales.
