Where to stay in Remedios

For many years, Remedios was a one-hotel town, with just the Hotel Mascotte to fall back on. Now, with the growth in tourism to the nearby Cayos de Villa Clara, it has been joined by 5 sister hotels, all run by the same company and all small, unpretentious, heritage-style properties. They are, the Hotel Barcelona, Camino del Principe, Hotel Real, Casa Bauza and Hotel Las Leyendas.

Remedios is also home to a number of pleasant casa particulars, most located just off the town’s main square.

Depending on one’s itinerary, it is also possible to stay in Santa Clara and visit Remedios (less than an hour’s drive) on a day trip.
