Attractive hotel set amidst beautiful tropical gardens

Once you’ve passed through the small reception area at the entrance, the first thing any visitor will notice are the extensive, beautiful gardens which extend far beyond the main hotel buildings.

At the far end of these gardens, the hotel even boasts its very own large cave although the main cave system is just a short drive away.

Facilities at the hotel are limited although there is a pleasant bar / restaurant, El Bistrot Frances that specialises in, yes, French cuisine.

There are 8 rooms in total at Candelaria Lodge, all individually named after flowers, and furnished using Guatemala furniture, art and fabrics. Each of the rooms is different with Orquidea, the Junior Suite, being the pick of the bunch.
