A guide to accommodation options in Guatemala City

Where to stay in Guatemala City

Although relatively few tourists visit Guatemala City, the nation’s capital and largest city by far is an important local and regional commercial centre and is therefore well served for accommodation.

The city’s best and most convenient hotels are located near the airport with plenty of large, business style hotels to choose from.

However, for something a bit more personable, independent and stylish, our recommended hotel in Guatemala City is the delightful La Inmaculada hotel.

Beyond The Ordinary arrange fully bonded, tailor made holidays and tours to Guatemala. Contact one of our experts on 01580 764796, email travel@beyondtheordinary.co.uk or contact us via our website.

For those clients who would rather stay somewhere larger, with more extensive facilities, there are a number of hotels that we can offer such as the Real Intercontinental, Westin Camino Real, Hilton Guatemala City, Barcelo Guatemala City, Hotel Biltmore & Hyatt Centric.

While relatively few holidays to the country will ever require accommodation in Guatemala City, examples that do can be found in our Itineraries page.
