Like its sister hotel in nearby Antigua, the Good Hotel Guatemala City is a part of a social enterprise that reinvests all profits into local community projects.

Located in the city’s Zone 4, an area fast becoming the capital’s creative zone and home to start up businesses, shops, cafes, bars & restaurants. While not as close to the international airport as most of the city’s top-end hotels, it’s generally no more than a 30 minute transfer.

Part of a mixed use building, the heart of Good Hotel Guatemala City is the 7th floor Living Room, a social space that is open to both guests and locals and home to La Capirucha restaurant which specialises in local, seasonal produce with a contemporary twist.

When it comes to accommodation, the property features some 29 rooms across 3 different room categories. Please note that all rooms come with a single, double bed, ie there are no twin bedded rooms.

Entry level ‘Good Rooms’ measure 18sq metres and, while undeniably compact, are stylishly furnished with the majority also benefiting from large windows.

The next category up, and measuring 22sq metres, are ‘Good Rooms with Balconies’. As the name suggests, these rooms are much the same as the entry level category with the added benefit of a private balcony.

The third and final category, measuring almost 30sq metres, are the appropriately named ‘Best Rooms’. Featuring more space and larger beds, please note these rooms do not benefit from a balcony.

As with Antigua, service at the Good Hotel Guatemala is both friendly and polished with all staff having first passed through the Good Training programme.
