A luxury, lakefront hotel set in its own private reserve

There are 5 lakes within the reserve with the largest, Laguna Quexil, home to Monkey Island. As the name suggests the island is home to a colony of monkeys and a boat trip to witness them being fed is a unique highlight of the hotel.

In addition to Monkey Island, Las Lagunas Hotel offers a variety of other activities within the reserve including walking, cycling and bird-watching. Within the main building there is even a small museum housing local Mayan artefacts.

Also within the main building is a wonderful, open-air bar and restaurant together with an infinity pool overlooking the lake.

Accommodation comprises 19 lake-facing cabanas, all beautifully crafted using local wood. All cabanas are very spacious, beautifully appointed and have terraces overlooking the lake. Room choices are – Waterfront Suite, Master Suite and Waterfront Master Suite.
