Hotel Cayo Levisa

Cayo Levisa, Cuba
Simple Small Beach

The Hotel Cayo Levisa is the only hotel on the island and, although it has been expanded from its original size, with just 55 rooms it remains one of just a handful of small, uncommercial beach hotels in Cuba.

Please note that the Hotel Cayo Levisa remains closed with no indication as to when it will finally reopen. Due to the lack of suitable alternatives, we will not be taking future bookings for the hotel until it reopens and stays open for a period of time. Please note too that our minimum booking requirement for all our holidays to Cuba is 7 nights booked accommodation (can be divided between different hotels).

Apart from scuba diving and snorkelling, there is little to do on Cayo Levisa apart from relax, walk along the beach or go for a swim and both facilities and standards at the hotel only re-enforce this.

Hotel Cayo Levisa is certainly no shabby-chic design hotel but rather a smarter version of the classic backpacker joint.

Dining options on Cayo Levisa are a main, a la carte restaurant serving typical Cuban cuisine and seafood together with a more casual snack joint on the beach. Again, neither are in any way fancy although, for many visitors, that is half the appeal.

The 55 rooms at Hotel Cayo Levisa are made up of 10 bungalows, 7 junior suites and 38 tropical rooms. If quality of accommodation is an important part of your decision making then this is one hotel where it definitely makes sense to upgrade.

As one the very few, small, un-commercial beach hotels in Cuba, and with its relative proximity to Havana, the Hotel Cayo Levisa books up a long way in advance, especially for the high season period from November through April.
