Hostal El Portal

With accommodation options in the area being very limited, and the vast majority of overnight visitors being somewhat youthful, facilities at the Hostal El Portal are pretty basic and, perhaps as importantly, the atmosphere can sometimes be slightly exuberant.

So, if you don’t mind the pretty basic rooms and the sometimes (by no means all the time) party atmosphere, the setting really is quite beautiful and it can’t be beaten for convenience.

The open-air restaurant overlooks the river and bridge crossing below and, when not enjoying the natural pools nearby, the hotel has its own swimming pools.

There are a number of different accommodation options – including dormitory! – but we only feature the individual bungalows that are en-suite but don’t have a/c.
