Melia Las Americas

The hotel was originally opened as part of a complex of three hotels (the Sol Palmeras & Melia Varadero being the other two) adjoining Varadero Golf Club. Even if you don’t give a hoot about golf, the surrounding greenery gives the resort a feeling of space and exclusivity.

In keeping with its age, the Melia Las Americas conforms to a slightly more old-fashioned design style but the beach is one of the best in Varadero and facilities and service are of a high standard throughout.

The hotel features 5 bars, main buffet restaurant and a choice of 3 a la carte restaurants. The hotel also has 2 pools, health & fitness centre, shops, hairdresser, beauty salon and, of course, the 18-hole golf course.

Included in the price are all meals and snacks, all local and selected international drinks 24hrs a day, non-motorised watersports, various land-based activities and evening entertainment.

The Melia Las Americas has a total of 340 guest rooms incorporating a wide variety of room categories. For most guests, the choice will generally be between garden or seaview and between accommodation in the main building or one of the adjoining bungalows.
