If you can get away from its somewhat obtrusive design, the ‘Adult Only’ Blau Varadero is one of the most consistent and well-regarded hotels in Varadero.
All of the hotel’s rooms and the majority of its services are housed in the single, pyramid-like structure that is the tallest building in Varadero. Although an eyesore from the outside, the interior of the Blau Varadero is dominated by a huge, central atrium which is light, bright and spacious.
Facilities of the hotel include 5 bars, a choice of buffet and a la carte restaurants, large pool, tennis courts, spa (fee) gym and sauna.
Included in the price are all meals and snacks, all local and selected international drinks 24hrs a day, non-motorised watersports, various land-based activities and evening entertainment.
All 395 rooms are light, bright and airy and there is no getting away from the fact that the seaview rooms (supplement) do have spectacular views. All rooms come with a balcony or terrace.
