Los Jazmines boasts the best views of any hotel in Cuba and, for many visitors to the Vinales Valley, this makes up for any other shortcomings.

The hotel is located just off the road from Pinar del Rio and is positioned on the steep-sided valley edge with panoramic views across the Vinales Valley and its famous mogotes. The actual town of Vinales is a further five minutes’ drive by taxi.

The main part of the hotel is housed in an attractive pink mansion, in front of which is a lovely pool, another popular reason to stay at Los Jasmines. The main building also houses the hotel’s restaurant which, unfortunately, is best avoided.

Fortunately, there are a now a small number of restaurants within walking distance as well as many more options in Vinales town.

The hotel also has a Tours Desk from which various, local excursions can be booked.

Accommodation is located either side of the main building and, while the views are truly breath-taking, the 78 rooms themselves are small and slightly disappointing.
