For many years, the Hotel Meson del Marques was the stand-out option in Valladolid and, although it finally has some competition on its hands, it is still deservedly popular.
Superbly located facing directly onto Valladolid’s main square, the original part of the Meson del Marques dates back to the 17th century and comprises a beautiful open courtyard, a/c restaurant and some of the hotel’s rooms.
Behind the original building is a small swimming pool and, to the side and back of that, are more modern additions to the property which house the majority of the hotel’s rooms.
Although not a luxurious hotel, the Meson del Marques is ideally located for exploring Valladolid and the open central courtyard is a particularly lovely spot to read a book with a cool drink by your side.
There are some 90 rooms in total and we strongly recommend upgrading to the superior rooms or even one of the suites in the original building.
