Hacienda Sacnicte

Located just 4kms from the centre of Izamal, the Hacienda Sacnicte is far enough out of town for guests to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to be able to take advantage of its bars, restaurants and shops.

While many of the Yucatan Peninsula’s hacienda hotels are luxurious properties with price tags to match, the Hacienda Sacnicte is very competitively priced, enabling the vast majority of visitors to enjoy the hacienda experience, one of the stand out features of any fly drive or touring holiday in Mexico.

Surrounded by attractive gardens, boasting a good-sized swimming pool and with plenty of outside space in which to enjoy a good book, relaxing at the hacienda is not a problem.

Breakfast is included in the price and, while the property doesn’t have a restaurant as such, other meals can be arranged on quest. A full bar service is also available.

In terms of accommodation, the Hacienda Sacnicte features just 10 rooms across 3 different room categories. Entry level rooms are known as Deluxe rooms, are located on the ground floor and come with a choice of king or twin beds. Master Suites are similar but larger and also come with a choice of king or twin beds.

Located within the main building, the huge (almost 100 sq metres) Presidential Suite was the original bedroom for the owner of the hacienda and is ideal for families or anyone who likes a bit of space!

Aside from nearby Izamal, other attractions within easy reach of Hacienda Sacnicte include Ox Watz, a 1000 acre nature reserve managed by the local Maya, the ancient archaeological site of Xbaatun and even horse-riding.
