Casa Encantada is a compact, snug little hotel, and staying there one feels more like a guest in someone’s private home than a commercially run hotel.

Whether it’s when you first arrive through the traditional timber door, are sat reading a book in the lounge or relaxing in your bedroom, the tasteful décor, furnishings and artworks will always remind you that you’re in Guatemala.

In the centre of Casa Encantada, the small swimming pool is a great place to relax after a day exploring Antigua while the rooftop terrace is somewhere to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and perhaps get to know your fellow guests before heading out for dinner.

Please note that breakfast is provided by the hotel but there is no restaurant so guests will need to head out for lunch and dinner. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from within easy walking distance and the hotel reception will be more than happy to offer recommendations and advice.

There are just 10 rooms, including a rooftop suite, all of which are very comfortable and individually furnished.
