Hotel Santa Ana
- Restored 350 year old colonial building
- Located within Trinidad's historic centre
- Just 9 individual rooms and suites
Trinidad, Cuba
Following the sympathetic and creative restoration of a 350 year old colonial building, the Hotel Santa Ana in Trinidad opened its door in August 2025.
Located in the heart of Trinidad’s historic, colonial centre, the Hotel Santa Ana is a privately owned and managed property (hence a casa particular) that already stands out as one of the most desirable accommodation options anywhere in Cuba, let alone Trinidad.
Entering from the quiet street outside, the property comprises two large patios: the first dominated by a large fountain, extensive planting and secluded seating areas; the second, a more shaded space, is where breakfast is served. There is also a rooftop terrace with extensive views, ideal for an evening drink or two.
A delicious continental breakfast is included in the price with fresh produce coming from a nearby organic farm. Dinner can also be arranged at Santa Ana by prior reservation although most guests will want to head out to eat.
In total there are 9 rooms at Hotel Santa Ana, all individually decorated and furnished with a blend of original antiques, contemporary furniture & fittings as well as luxury bedding.
The entry level room is 1 Classic Standard room followed by 4 larger, Deluxe Classic rooms (king or twin) and 1 Deluxe Supreme room (king) with its own balcony. There are then 2 Junior Suites (king) with a small living area and, finally, the Senior Suite which has both internal & external seating areas as well as an outside shower and jacuzzi.
All rooms have stylish bathrooms, safe, wifi and 24hr a/c thanks to the Hotel Santa Ana being entirely powered by its own solar panels, backed up by powerful battery system.
For those clients visiting the property on an independent basis (without one of our excellent Driver / Guides), a Concierge is on hand to offer advice and help with making arrangements for a wide variety of local sightseeing options.
