While Trinidad, and the surrounding area, has long been one of the most appealing regions of Cuba in terms of things to see and do, it has always lacked any top-end accommodation at the beach.

In addition to the beautiful beach and calm waters of the Caribbean, numerous facilities and activities available at the Melia Trinidad, the wider Sancti Spiritus region offers numerous cultural attractions (including the nearby Valley of the Sugar Mills and the city of Cienfuegos) stunning countryside and options for both diving and fishing.

Unlike many of Cuba’s other, superior beach hotels, the Melia Trinidad accepts children and is therefore the ideal choice for a family holiday where nobody has to compromise.

Included in the price are all meals and snacks, all local and selected international drinks 24hrs a day, non-motorised watersports, various land-based activities and evening entertainment.

The Melia Trinidad has some 400 guest rooms incorporating a wide variety of room categories. For most guests, the choice will generally be between garden or seaview although there is also the option of upgrading to the more luxurious ‘Level’ rooms which, for some guests at least, have the advantage of being Adult Only.
