This beautiful little property in the heart of Merida is a stylish and intimate bolt-hole that marries historic, architectural authenticity with the many requirements of a modern, boutique hotel.
Casa Lecanda is divided into three tranquil patios that are connected to each other by a garden running the length of the property.
One patio has a fountain at its centre and is surrounded by plants, a second is home to the hotel’s small pool while the third is adorned with hammocks that are ideal for a late afternoon snooze.
Meals are served in the attractive dining room although there are numerous bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
As an added extra, the Casa Lecanda is able to provide a number of spa treatments within guests own rooms as well as the services of a professional yoga instructor. Alternatively, get to know the secrets of Yucatan cuisine with your own, in-house cooking lessons.
There are just 7 rooms at the hotel which have high ceilings but which are not amongst the largest in the city. In addition, some rooms face directly onto the pool area.
Please note that Casa Lecanda is an Adult Only hotel with a minimum age limit of 17 years old.
