Hacienda Misne

Dating back to the 18th century, awash with history and character and surrounded by beautiful gardens, Hacienda Misne is neither a city centre hotel, nor your typical hacienda located in the back of beyond.

At the time of its building, the property would have of course have been surrounded by nothing but fields of sisal, or ‘green gold’ as it came to be known.

However, with the rapid expansion of Merida in every direction, the Hacienda Misne now finds itself very much a city hotel, just not one in the very centre, ideal for those who wish to enjoy the hacienda experience, together with peaceful gardens, swimming pools and gracious accommodation, while at the same time benefiting from easy access to the city’s many cultural attractions as well as its range of bars, restaurants and shops.

Facilities at the hotel include a bar and restaurant, 2 swimming pools, a gym / spa and the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Mayan massage and treatments.

In terms of accommodation, Hacienda Misne features 50 rooms with a choice of 5 different room categories: Superior, Colonial, Garden, Deluxe and Royal Suite. All rooms are spacious and have high ceilings, are traditionally furnished, feature views of the garden and include a/c, ceiling fans, wifi, smart  tv, ironing board and room service.
