With the first signs that winter is on its way, what better time to start planning a Cuba tour for 2020?
January through April is Cuba’s high season with the island enjoying hot, sunny days and comfortable evenings, not to mention less rain and humidity than during the summer months – ideal weather for touring.
Our Cuba tours in 2020 will continue to run for 7, 11 & 14 nights beginning on Sunday 12th January (ie there is no departure on 5th January) and running pretty much every Sunday thereafter until the end of April.
Indeed, if you’re flexible with your dates and looking to escape the country during January (and we wish we could too) then, at the time of writing, we currently have special offers on all 3 Cuba tours departing on 12th January – please see the individual tours page for up-to-date details of prices.
If 2020 still seems a long way off, please do bear in mind that all our Cuba tours are small groups so availability is limited.
Also worth noting, if you’re looking to fly direct from the UK to Cuba, the only scheduled option remains Virgin Atlantic’s twice weekly flight from Gatwick to Havana (one of those flights is a Sunday which ties in with the tour) which also books up a long away in advance, especially in Premium Economy & Upper Class.
Looking further ahead, into summer 2020, May is still a good time to tour Cuba and has the advantage over the winter months in that the days are longer. Our 7nt Cuba Tour will operate every Sunday throughout May 2020 while our 11 & 14 night tours are subject to availability.
Beyond May 2020, we are still waiting to see whether Virgin’s new flight schedule (set to come into place from June 2020 with flights switching from Gatwick to Heathrow and operating on a Tuesday & Saturday) is 100% confirmed.
If you plan to tour Cuba from June 2020 onwards, we suggest you email or call to check on dates.
As with all our holidays, all our Cuba tours in 2020 can be extended with time at the beach of which there are numerous options. We know each and every one of our featured hotels from first-hand experience so don’t hesitate to call or email with any queries you may have.
