Paradisus Rio de Oro

Guardalavaca, Cuba
Superior All Inclusive

It may be no spring-chicken but, in our opinion, the ‘Adult Only’ Paradisus Rio de Oro is still one of Cuba’s best all-round beach hotels.

In part this is due to its location and setting – Guardalavaca is the most quintessentially ‘tropical’ of Cuba’s major beach destinations and the Paradisus Rio de Oro occupies a prime location within this setting.

Aside from its natural attributes, the hotel has been under the management of Spanish group Melia since its inception and, accordingly, has benefited from a continuity of management and investment which is often lacking elsewhere in Cuba.

The hotel features 5 bars, main buffet restaurant and a choice of 4 a la carte restaurants. The hotel also has 2 pools, YHI Spa, health & fitness centre, shops, hairdresser, beauty salon and, of course, the 18-hole golf course.

The Paradisus Rio de Oro has a total of 354 guest rooms with no less than 8 different room categories. For many guests, the simple choice will be between garden or seaview rooms although there is also a choice between standard rooms and upgrading to Royal Service rooms.

Aside from enhanced, more contemporary accommodation, guests who upgrade to Royal Service rooms benefit from a whole host of additional benefits throughout the hotel. Details are available upon request.

Included in the price are all meals and snacks, all local and international drinks 24hrs a day, non-motorised watersports, various land-based activities and evening entertainment.

Please Note: At all our featured All Inclusive beach hotels, charges apply for certain services while the provision of facilities and services may vary during periods of low occupancy.
