At the heart of the Puerta Campeche is a wonderful freeform swimming pool that feels as if it is part of the fabric of the building. It is certainly the best place we know of to escape the heat of a Campeche summer.

When not relaxing by the pool, the hotel also boasts a huge roof terrace, the ideal place to read a book and relax while gazing over the rooftop’s of the neighbourhood’s multi-coloured homes.

The hotel’s La Guardia restaurant serves up Campeche’s finest dining while meals are also often served on the roof terrace at weekends.

There are just 15 rooms in total at Puerta Campeche, all furnished to the highest modern standards but still clearly exhibiting the history of the building. Most rooms feature 18 foot ceilings with beautiful tiled floors and tropical, hardwood furniture.
